A Community of Faith, Hope & Love
To worship God, win souls, nurture believers, and impact our community and the world with the love of Christ.
To be a vibrant, growing church that transforms lives and communities through the power of the Gospel.
PIWC Norcross was established to serve the growing Ghanaian and African community in the Norcross/Atlanta area. What started as a small group of believers gathering in homes has grown into a thriving congregation that welcomes people from all walks of life. As a branch of the Church of Pentecost, one of the largest Pentecostal churches in Ghana and worldwide, PIWC Norcross is part of a global family committed to the Great Commission.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for faith and practice.
Belief in one God eternally existing in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. This is orthodox Trinitarian theology.
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Born of the Virgin Mary. Lived a sinless life. Died as a substitutionary sacrifice for humanity. Bodily resurrection. Ascended to heaven. Will return physically and visibly.
Humanity is sinful and separated from God. Salvation comes through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Justification is by grace through faith. Regeneration (new birth) is essential.
We observe two primary ordinances: (a) Water Baptism - by immersion, for believers only (not infant baptism). (b) The Lord's Supper (Communion) - observed as remembrance of Christ's death.
Distinct from salvation. Accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in tongues (glossolalia). Empowers believers for service and witness.
The gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12) are active today. Includes healing, prophecy, miracles, tongues, etc.
Healing is provided in Christ's atonement. Believers may pray for healing. Does not necessarily reject medical treatment.
Emphasis on moral purity and disciplined Christian living. Separation from sin and worldliness. Ethical conduct as evidence of genuine faith.
Belief in the literal second coming of Christ. Resurrection of the dead. Eternal life for the saved. Eternal punishment for the unrepentant.
